“By registering in each workshop, you pay for another young woman in need to participate in a workshop for her empowerment and wellbeing.”

CLIMB YOUR EVEREST NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION
WE EMPOWER MARGINALIZED WOMEN AND YOUNG GIRLS TO LEAD FULFILLING LIVES.
We utilize a research-based participatory action oriented approach, which ensures the participants learn skills that are useful and culturally relevant for them. This ensures that the participants are more engaged and therefore master the skills most effectively and efficiently.
Educating Girls & Fighting Human Trafficking
Empower Nepali Girls Foundation supports and empowers neglected, marginalized, and at-risk girls and young women in Nepal, especially those who at greatest risk of being forced into early marriage, sold into sex slavery, or abandoned as orphans.
They provide scholarships, mentoring, career guidance, and subsistence for children who would not have the opportunity to attend school and pursue future careers in medicine, engineering, business, teaching, and other professions.
I have served with their international team of volunteers, met the students, and seen the impact the program has had on the lives of its participants. That is why I’m committed to supporting the scholarship recipients they serve.
I have have also built strong connections with the Nepali girls. They are smart, creative, driven, and courageous and I love seeing them prosper despite their situations. I am proud of the Empower Nepali Girls Foundation and I’m grateful to be a part of it.
Providing Maternal & New Born Healthcare Support
I’m summiting Kilimanjaro to raise funds and awareness for the Kupona Foundation, to provide the basic medical treatments for women living with, and recovering from, obstetric fistula in Tanzania. The women they treat go from being outcasts in society to living normal lives with the help of a simple procedure. Without the help of this organization, these women would not have access to this medical service.
Since 2009, the Kupona Foundation has raised over $3 million to support treatment, training, capital projects and organizational development for the health care organization called Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation (CCBRT). They connect CCBRT with technical support to fill critical resourcing gaps on the ground, while supporting efforts to strengthen healthcare systems in Tanzania and further afield.
I have met some of these women and they are strong and hopeful women that inspire me beyond words. I was able to witness the success that the medical treatment has on these women, giving them their confidence back by providing them with the opportunity to heal, learn, and grow.
Supporting Victims of Violence & Disadvantaged Young Women
The OMID Foundation is committed to strengthening the social, emotional and economic opportunities of disadvantaged young women in Iran, through a two and a half year residency program.
They provide them with a sense of self worth and opportunities in three key areas: self-empowerment, education and training.
Through a holistic approach, they help these young women learn to be treated with respect, dignity and kindness. The women leave the program feeling proud, strong and able to live their lives confidently within their society.
I had the privilege to visit the Omid Foundation in Tehran, and was inspired by the amazing and powerful girls I met there.
Gender-Expansive Young People
I climbed the highest peak in North America (Denali) to raise funds and awareness for National Crittenton that advocates for social, economic, and political justice with and for girls, young women, and gender-expansive young people impacted by chronic adversity, violence, and oppression: those who are or have been involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems and who experience violence, homelessness, poverty, young motherhood, trafficking, abuse, neglect, and family dysfunction and more. I hope my courage and determination inspires the girls and young women facing these obstacles and the supports provided to them will enable them to climb their own mountain.
I Stand With Planned Parenthood
Planned Parenthood delivers vital reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of people worldwide. Planned Parenthood was founded on the revolutionary idea that women should have the information and care they need to live strong, healthy lives and fulfill their dreams, no ceilings, no limits. Planned Parenthood is a respected leader in sex education. Planned Parenthood delivers sex education programs, resources, and tools that empower all people to make informed choices about sexuality and relationships, and lead their healthiest lives.
Supporting Child Foundation
Child Foundation is an international charity organization that helps children living in poverty remain in school. The children sponsored through its programs are high achievers, and many of the children we assist are orphans or children living in emergency situations. By enhancing the quality of life for children in need, as well as their respective families, they actively help them gain access to education. Child Foundation in collaboration with Empower Nepali Girls facilitates the sponsorship of dozens of girls living in Nepal where sex trafficking is a major concern.
